Cecily Strong was born on February 8, 1984, in Springfield, Illinois, USA as Cecily Legler Strong. She is an actor and producer. She has been known for Saturday Night Live (1975), Ghostbusters (2016) and The Boss (2016).Attended Oak Park River Forest High School and Chicago Academy of Arts, finishing in 2002.She played the role of a Latina in her debut show on "Saturday Night Live" however she isn't of Hispanic origins. She graduated from California Institute of Arts with a BFA in Theater. Bill Strong, her dad was the Associated Press bureau chief for the Illinois Statehouse. He would perform during the Gridiron show put on by the state corps, impersonating the governor. He is a massive supporter of Cecily.
