In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Artistress. She reprised her role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Cattrall was first seen in Rosebud (1975) and later began to appear in various roles in television. In the 1980s, Cattrall rose to fame through films such as Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was also in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989).
