Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. She
is most famous for her performance in Sex and the City's Samantha Jones
(1998-2004), where she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe
Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award for Best
Supporting Artistress. She reprised her role in the films Sex and the City
(2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Cattrall was first seen in Rosebud (1975)
and later began to appear in various roles in television. In the 1980s,
Cattrall rose to fame through films such as Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police
Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was also in City Limits (1985), Big
Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight
Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989). She worked on several
occasions with director Bob Clark, appearing in four of his films: Tribute
(1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182 (1985) and Baby Geniuses (1999). Her film
credits also comprise The Bonfire of the Vanities (90) and Star Trek VI: The
Undiscovered Country(91) as well as Split Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995),
and 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess (2006), My Boy Jack
